The Positive Power of Intention
Your thoughts, beliefs, words, actions, and the way you treat yourself are the powerful intentions you set every single day. All of this energetic input helps create your life experience and therefore greatly affects the quality of your life. The empowered beauty of this dynamic means that you get to choose! You can change your life by creating a healthier positive intention!
Begin to empower yourself into a healthier life experience through positive intention by understanding the vision you are currently creating. Self-reflection of your daily thoughts and beliefs can be extremely helpful in shifting your life experience into a more balanced space of joy, happiness, and calming tranquility. Creating an empowered vision of positive intention and gratitude begins by coming to understand the negative thoughts and beliefs you are currently experiencing.
You can empower yourself by releasing negative beliefs and thought patterns and shifting your focus into more positive thoughts and beliefs. Remember, energy follows focus. Your primary focus is a large part of the energy that helps create your life experience, quality of life, and what you manifest in your life.
A simple yet powerful place to begin is keeping a daily record of your thoughts. Taking the time to notice what thoughts are running through your head every day helps bring important awareness into your conscious state of being. Expanded conscious awareness creates the understanding necessary to support significant change through positive action.
Each day notice and write down what you are thinking. After a week of recording your thoughts, read back through the journal. What do you notice? Are there any patterns? Are you judging or criticizing yourself? How does reading what you’ve written make you feel? Are there emotional patterns connected to your daily thoughts? Use your journal as a helpful tool in guiding you into releasing and letting go of old patterned negativity.
Releasing and letting go must be followed up with positive action to facilitate a healthy change.
Create a positive change through the intention of gratitude by creating another journal in which you write down your blessings. Each day for an entire week write down a minimum of four things for which you are thankful. What brings you joy? Where did love or kindness find its way into your day? Where did you experience positive abundance during your day? After a week of recording your blessings, go back through your week’s writing. Focus, reflect upon, and truly drink in the joy and positive energy of what blesses your day. Notice how you feel as you focus on the essence of gratitude. Are there emotional patterns connected to your sense of gratitude?
After spending some time in self-reflection create a master gratitude list. Using your gratitude journal as a guide, write down a core list of your blessings. To do so, read through your gratitude journal and pull out specific blessings that evoke the feelings of joy and happiness. Write a minimum of four blessings on a separate piece of paper. This is your master gratitude list. When you find your mind wandering into a negative place, read through your master gratitude list four times. As you do so, really take the time to breathe into the emotional essence and positive energy of what blesses you.
Additional uplifting tips:

- Do something fun! What brings you joy?
- Paint, dance, sing, hug your dog
So the next time your feel your thoughts spinning round and round, pulling you down into negativity—stop, take a deep breath, and move into a space of gratitude. Remember, taking the time to change your thoughts will change your quality of life!
